Please see the list below of items that are needed for our annual Giving Tree. Tags will be available for you to take on December 3 and 4th. We are giving you this list now in case you are shopping for the holiday early, or find some really good sales, but please don’t bring them to church yet. ITEMS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT CHURCH on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 OR SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2022 Thank you for your generosity.
1) MARY’S MANTLE serving homeless, expectant women. * Diapers: Size 3, 5 or 6 only please * Laundry Detergent
2) Deo Gratias Ministries is a nonprofit café in northeast Detroit. * Sets of towels * Toilet paper, paper towels * Body soap, Toothbrushes/paste, Deodorant
3) Pope Francis Center is a warming center in Detroit. They provide meals and shelter for the homeless. * Hand and toe warmers * Purell Hand Sanitizer—travel size only * Scope mouthwash, original Mint—travel size only * Disposable Rain ponchos with drawstring hood * Emergency Foil Mylar Thermal Blankets * Chapstick
4) John Dingell VA Medical Center assists Veteran patients in downtown Detroit * Lap blankets * Simple board games, playing cards * Disposable cameras
