Marriage
In Christian marriage, the bond between man and woman is to reflect Christ's love for the Church. This is the vocation of marriage, to serve one another selflessly. The ministry of this vocation is to care for one another with compassion, forgiveness and understanding just as Christ cares for the Church. This loving concern becomes the foundation of a lasting marriage relationship. (St. Michael the Archangel Wedding Manual, Msgr. William Tindall)
Receiving the Sacrament of Matrimony
There are different ways to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony. If you are a Catholic but were not married in the church, you can receive the Sacrament of Matrimony through convalidation.
Marriage and Family Life
At St. Michael the Archangel, we offer support and activities for married couples through our Marriage and Family Life Committee. The events of this committee are designed to enhance and inspire your marriage and family life, while giving you the opportunity to enjoy time with other parish couples.
