Children's Liturgy of the Word
St. Michael is excited to bring Children's Liturgy of the Word to our Sunday's 10:00 am Mass during the school year, September-May.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be at the 10:00 a.m. mass on Sundays during the school year. We will bring children ages 3-Year Preschool through 1st grade who choose to join us in the Church's vestibule. We will read the readings in a child-friendly way and discuss them on their level. They will rejoin their families after the homily. This is a great resource for children. Physically, it allows them to move around a little more during mass. They can also better understand and appreciate the reading and the meanings while still being with their church community. The children can learn about their faith positively and enjoyably. It is an experience of prayer and dialogue with God.
Please Note: We will not have Children's Liturgy on Sunday, April 16 and Sunday, April 30.
