St Michael's Annual Chili Cook Off

Are you ready to compete in our annual Chili Cook Off? Do you have a delicious chili that people are always raving about? We are excited to taste your delicious recipe. Please sign up so we know how many chili's to prepare for.

Please have chili cooked and ready to go in the cafeteria no later than 1:00pm on Sunday, Sept 27. A large crock pot or large pot of homemade chili is required.

● You will be assigned an entry number upon arrival - judges and guests will know your chili by the number, not your name.

● Provide a written copy of your recipe ingredients (for allergy awareness,. list ingredients such as hamburger, garlic, celery, green pepper and spices. No need to give amounts.). If your recipe is SPICY, please note that as well.

● You will be judged on color, aroma, consistency, taste and aftertaste

● Awards given for first place via judges and first place people’s choice. Winner will be announced at 3pm.

Servers will hand out samples at the Festival. There will be condiments to go with the chili so you won't need to bring anything like that with you. We'll even provide a ladle.

You can come pick up your belongings after 3pm.

Sorry, store bought Chili will be disqualified. (This contest is not following rules by International Chili Society).
