Altar Servers are an essential part of each Mass. Boys and Girls in grades 4 and up are encouraged to become an Altar Server, to assist Father or Monsignor during Mass. Below are common questions to answer, as well as dates to pick for training. Once training is complete, your child will be added to the rotation for Sunday's scheduling. In regards to Holy Days, you will have the option via email from the Rectory on which Mass you will be attending.
Please know that even if your child is NOT on the schedule for that day, if you are at Mass and you notice that a server is needed, your child should volunteer to serve -- this act would be greatly appreciated.
Also know that after 8th grade graduation and confirmation, your child does NOT need to stop serving. If they enjoy serving, they are encouraged to continue.
