On April 26th, St. Michael community took action to the streets (and sidewalks) and supported the Spring Pro-Life Sidewalk Chalking Day! Supporters wrote words, slogans, and drew attention to pro-life facts. The student Pro-Life Club help decorate the entry way into the school.
The Student Pro-Life Club meets once a month during a lunch period to pray together for an end to abortion, to encourage one another to continue praying daily, and to discuss pro-life events and issues at a very elementary level. Students in grades 6-8 are eligible to join in September. Prayer cards are provided to the students. The club members encourage one another to continue praying daily for their spiritually adopted baby. Students are educated about the development of the pre-born child.
St. Michael the Archangel's Gospel of Life Committee is open to anyone who wishes to get involved in activities, prayer and education relevant to life issues. Meetings are usually held every other month or as needed from September - May. Interested in joining? Reach out to our parish office.
