Prayer, Praise, and Worship

**Prayer, Praise & Worship** takes place every third Friday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Church. You are invited to join us for an evening of praise music and adoration. There will be an opportunity to pray for the intentions of St. Michael’s Parish and to pray with members of our prayer team. We will enjoy fellowship with light refreshments at the end of the evening.

**What is Prayer, Praise and Worship?**

Every third Friday of the month at 7 PM, unless there is a conflict with the liturgical calendar, you are invited to gather in the Church for an evening of music, prayers, and reflections known as Prayer, Praise and Worship. You will hear contemporary Christian music performed by the St. Michael’s Emmaus Band or a recording of a professional musical group. Regular listeners of contemporary Christian music may already be familiar with the songs selected each month. If you're not familiar, don’t worry—we provide copies of the lyrics for you to follow along.

The evening will also include scripture passages, communal prayers, and reflections. Additionally, there will be time for Eucharistic Adoration and an opportunity to pray with a trained member of the prayer team. If you wish, you may bring a personal intention to the team, and they will pray for you and with you regarding your intention. Each month features a theme that guides the selection of scripture passages, reflections, music, and prayers.

Light refreshments and fellowship will follow each evening. Prayer, Praise and Worship is open to everyone and lasts about an hour.

Join us on September 19th for an evening of Prayer, Praise and Worship with the theme of the Holy Spirit.
