Wedding Coordinators Needed at St. Michael

St. Michael Parish is seeking additional Wedding Coordinators to join our team. This is a meaningful and joy‑filled ministry that supports couples as they prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Matrimony.

Wedding Coordinators work in pairs at both the rehearsal and the wedding ceremony. Volunteers are able to choose which weddings they would like to assist with, making this a flexible and rewarding way to serve the parish.

What Wedding Coordinators Do

At the rehearsal, coordinators:

  • Organize the wedding party

  • Explain procedures and the order of the liturgy

  • Answer questions and help the couple feel prepared

At the wedding, coordinators:

  • Assist the wedding party and help everyone get where they need to be

  • Welcome guests and provide guidance

  • Communicate with the organist, photographer, and other vendors

  • Ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and reverently

This ministry is a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy hospitality, organization, and walking with couples during one of the most joyful moments of their lives.
