On August 15, join us for the celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Assumption of Mary is traditionally a Holy Day of Obligation in the Catholic Church. This significant feast day recalls the spiritual and physical departure of the mother of Jesus Christ from the earth when both her soul and her body were taken into the presence of God.
Because the date falls on a Saturday this year, it is not obligatory but still a holy day.
Join St. Michael for this feast day's Mass on August 15 at 8:30 am and 10:30 am, along with our standard 5:00 pm Saturday Vigil.
