Coaching at St. Michael the Archangel is more than just leading a team — it’s an opportunity to inspire, mentor, and shape young athletes. Coaches play a vital role in our Gaels community by fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Along the way, they build leadership, communication, and strategic skills — all while making a meaningful impact.
Now Recruiting: Fall Coaching Positions
We’re currently looking for committed and enthusiastic coaches for the upcoming season! Open roles include:
- Cheerleading — Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches
- JV Boys Soccer — Head Coach & Assistant Coaches
- Volleyball — Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches
Coach Requirements
To ensure the highest quality coaching, all coaches must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a passion for sports and youth development
- Commit to attending practices, games, and meetings
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude
- Complete a background check and the Protecting God’s Children program
Coaching Benefits
We appreciate your dedication and offer the following benefits:
- Head Coaches: Full (100%) registration fee waiver for up to 3 children during the season coached
- Assistant Coaches: Half (50%) registration fee waiver for up to 3 children during the season coached
Note: Athletes may participate in sports other than those coached by their family members during that season.
