Liturgical Ministries
The word "liturgy" comes from the Greek word leitourgia, which means "work of the people." As Catholics, we use the word "liturgy" to refer to the celebration of the Mass, the center of our faith life. As a church family, we are all called to participate in the liturgy through our prayer, song, and spoken responses at Mass. Some of us also feel called to serve at Mass as liturgical ministers. Our liturgies at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church wouldn’t be successful without our wonderful liturgical ministers sharing their time and talent with our parish community.
We have an upcoming opportunity to train to be an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion on June 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church.
If you are interested in joining any of our ministries, please call the rectory for information on the church's current needs. Contact Us >
